Hellman Electric won this $6 million design-build contract in cooperation with its design partner Transcore/JHK Engineering. The project involved supplying and installing a range of sophisticated Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) devices across Lower Manhattan, improving safety and traffic management capabilities.

The ITS devices included camera assemblies, vehicle classification detectors, ranging radar detectors, VMS signs, and transponder readers.
